We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Designer to join our dynamic team. The WordPress Designer will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and highly functional WordPress websites. This role requires a strong understanding of both design principles and technical WordPress functionalities to create engaging, user-friendly, and responsive websites.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Ensure website designs are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance across all devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with content creators to integrate text, images, videos, and other media into websites.
• Ensure content is structured in a way that enhances usability and SEO.
• Customize existing WordPress themes to meet specific client needs.
• Implement enhancements and new features to improve website functionality and user experience
• Implement best practices for SEO to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Optimize website performance by managing load times, improving site speed, and ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Extensive experience with WordPress CMS, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with popular WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and practices.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
• Relevant certifications in web design, development, or related fields.
