Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Account Officer to manage our financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily financial transactions, budget monitoring, payroll processing, and monthly reporting in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Invoicing & Payroll: Process client invoices, vendor payments, and staff payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal use and board review.
• Bank Reconciliation: Manage cash flow and reconcile bank statements.
• Internal Controls: Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Support Audits: Liaise with auditors and ensure all necessary documentation is available and accurate.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in the use of Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
