We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to join our dynamic team. The IT Officer will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all departments, and supporting our digital development projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological advancements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with web and mobile app development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of projects.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of development environments.
- Support software testing processes by ensuring the availability and functionality of testing tools and environments.
- Manage and participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of IT services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, functionality, and security.
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing websites.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
- Create and manage user accounts for web and domain hosting services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within a digital development or tech company.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Asana, Zoho Workspace, Google Workspace
- Familiarity with WordPress
